Obama for President, Reason #27

August 17th, 2008

Supporting the troops.

GIs favor Obama by big margin

U.S. soldiers have donated more presidential campaign money to Democrat Barack Obama than to Republican John McCain, a reversal of previous campaigns in which military donations tended to favor GOP White House hopefuls, a nonpartisan group reported Thursday.

Troops serving abroad have given nearly six times as much money to Obama’s presidential campaign as they have to McCain’s

You’re able to post anything that you want, but I wish you wouldn’t post lies. We’re in the Army and not a single person we know is voting for Obama, much less donating to him. We’ve been in a VERY long time know a great number of people. That’s not saying much for your post when none of the people we know can validate your statement.

In fact, if your read statements by the military on Obama’s visit to Iraq, they can’t stand him….literally. He treated them by, well basically, ignoring them. He only cared about meeting the officers and he didn’t shake hands or talk to anyone. Photos were strictly photo ops, not what really happened. This comes from the military, not someone pushing either candidate.

So please, endorse your candidate, but at least use the facts. Lies just turn people like me further away.

Gosh, you cite The Oklahoman, which itself will not cite any source Mike?

    Kudos, Elaine, Onions.
