Ms. Bilyeu recently left some comments here on Okiedoke in response to Oklahoma’s juicy Senate race between Brad Carson and Dr. Tom Coburn… oh yeah, and Sheila Bilyeu. She agreed to answer a few questions from me to share with you all.
____________________________________
Welcome back to Oklahoma. One obvious question:
What do you say to folks who consider you an outsider to Oklahoma?
Bilyeu: I was born and raised in Oklahoma and got my B.S. at OSU. I visit my family quite often-maybe every six months. I have moved around to try and find
Justice and a job. I have spent more time in Oklahoma than anywhere else.
What do you feel is the number one problem facing Oklahomans today?
Bilyeu: A government that has been taken over by corporate greed and needs to be taken back so that the needs of the people are paramount and our most
important values are also paramount. It needs to be a country where the Constitution is important and one like we learned and teach the young people it should be. Health care and jobs are undoubtedly the greatest problem areas and these could be solved by receptive legislators that really care about the people’s most important needs and were not catering to greedy corporations.
One of your goals is good health care for everyone. What type of health care program do you propose?
Bilyeu: Our health care needs to be as good as the people who are supposed to serve us. If we quit getting into unnecessary wars we could provide health care, jobs etc.
You are outspoken against the war in Iraq. What type of exit strategy do you favor?
Bilyeu: You can find that at votenader.org
Oklahoma has been hit hard with job losses over the past few years. How do you see bringing jobs to Oklahoma?
Bilyeu: Ralph has good answers for that too. My answer is to quit allowing people to move their industries oversees until we have plenty of good paying jobs here and quit spending billions and billions that could provide jobs back here.
You state the need for removal of some corrupt Federal judges on your website. How should this be accomplished?
Bilyeu: The congress is supposed to oversee judges that don’t do their jobs. We should put in judges that are not catering to the people who put them in but are actually trying to be Just.
You also say the income tax is unjust. What are your recommendations to rectify this?
Bilyeu: People who are poor should not be taxed. The income tax should be fair. Some wise people need to overhaul the income tax to make it also Just.
Do you support a constitutional amendment banning gay marriage?
Bilyeu: No. People who love each other need to be able to be married. It also should cut down on disease since they hopefully are monogamous. The government would gain revenue. Why should anyone care and make it their business to object when there are enormous problems they could be devoting their time and energy to?
Are there any elected Oklahoma politicians you admire?
Bilyeu: There are not a great many politicians living that I admire anywhere but I admired many past politicians like Abraham Lincoln etc. and other people
of character who cared about the people’s most important needs and our most important values.
What concerns you most about Tom Coburn being elected? Brad Carson?
Bilyeu: Brad Carson did not vote for cheap prescription drugs but voted for his contributors-the big pharmaceuticals;he voted against the patients bill of right. I don’t think he cares enough about the people he is supposed to care about and represent. It appears that his supporters trashed me in the Daily Oklahoman and are trying to keep me out of the debates etc.
I think Coburn says some really strange things. I read he thinks abortion doctors should get the death penalty.
Some news media has portrayed you as crazy, citing your claim that a radio receiver was implanted in your head. Have you, or are you willing to, have a doctor verify this?
Bilyeu: If there is a good conscientious one who would not be in trouble with my enemies and if they would not mess up the equipment so that the tests are invalid.
Some pundits have referred to you as a possible spoiler in this election. Why should folks possibly “waste” their vote on you when your chance of winning is minimal?
Bilyeu: If the people will finally wake up and care about someone representing them that really cares about them, then people like Nader and me can win and help get this country on track. As long as the Democrats and Republicans are catering to corporate greed, trying to trash each other and third party people and trying to make themselves look good,we will continue to have a government that is incompetent and uncaring.
I want to thank Ms. Bilyeu for this interview and allowing Okiedoke readers the opportunity to better understand her candidacy.
Any further questions can be asked in the comments section, where Ms. Bilyeu will attempt to answer them.

Ms. Bilyeu,
Is it true that you sued Dan Rather over his false news reporting years ago? That might get you some votes right there.
September 22nd, 2004 at 10:59 am
Mike,
I am really rather embarrassed that I sued him;others have done such worse things.I should sue the Daily Oklahoman and Nolan Clay for his lies. Nolan Clay did lie. Perhaps he misunderstood ,but there are lies and he deliberately tried to destroy me on behalf of Carson is my belief;anyone who asked themselves why he did that would surely agree.

Also, thank you for putting this on your website and helping me get my views out;you did a good job.As you know,I am having a great deal of trouble getting fair coverage and am being excluded from most debate.

Sheila, I am quite interested in what happened to you with the doctors. I try to read up a little on things of that nature, and would be appreciative for any details or info you could point me toward (ie: news articles, reports, similar cases etc). I am glad to see a 3rd party candidate – and Green affilliated at that! Keep up the hard work.

Shelia, where do you stand on the drug war?
I’m glad to see a Nadar supporter on our ticket!
Keep fighting the 2 party system, because it is not working for this country!

I was also implanted with a transmission chip, how can I join your lawsuit? I hope they return your dog!

Dear Chris D. and Jack N.,
Jack I am sorry;maybe one day we can get them out.
I had an xray made and it appear that the device is further from my ear than I thought. I have read some things from time to time on some of the websites. If you go on google or Yahoo with my name you may find it. A psychologist who had worked in a mental institution said that some veterans had reported that they had an implant and that there is some company that does that.I think I read it a few weeks ago on the freerepublic website.
Dear Beth,
I think we are failing in the drug war.I think we need much more education and rehab. I wish we would do drugs somewhat like we do liquor but make people have to sit down and view a video that show some of the worse cases regarding what horrible things happens to their bodies and also it could tell people where to go for help.
October 13th, 2004 at 11:54 pm
Sheila, what exactly do you mean when you talk about a ‘living wage’ instead of minimum wage?
October 14th, 2004 at 2:56 am
Are you on crack?
October 14th, 2004 at 10:46 am
“If there is a good conscientious one who would not be in trouble with my enemies”
Who are these enemies you speak of? Are they from this plane? Or the Astral Plane?
October 17th, 2004 at 7:51 pm
how did you get the radio transplanted in your head?
October 19th, 2004 at 9:42 am
Wow, and I thought Coburn and Carson had problems
October 23rd, 2004 at 2:51 pm
Dear Dan Stephens,
I was told at an airforce base that I had cysts on my ovaries which was a lie. When I asked the intern or nurse that came in how it was,he replied flipantly:went over it with a fine tooth comb. I said to my self I bet that’s just what you did so you could tell that. Several years later they started transmitting into it. In
1995 when Clinton was President, they started doing what I call gassing and harrassing wars, where I would get gassed and they would transmit in heavily-all night, sometimes, and continue for many days. It has taken a tole on my health and ruined my teeth when my liver gets out of homeostasis ,putting acid in my mouth. They try to make people hate me by making it sound like I am saying racial slurs and mean or nasty words and phrases;it makes people mad and hurts their feelings. It makes me very uncomfortable and self concious because children may not understand and think I am being mean and nasty and some adults do not understand also.It reminds me that people can read my mind and they can make it sound like I am thinking alot of other things I am not thinking. At night when they start the worst of this, and keep me up,I am very uncomfortable because I don’t know who is paying attention and thinkingI am thinking what what I’m not. My thoughts are nobody’s buisness and I hate very much for people to think I am thinking what I am not.
October 23rd, 2004 at 3:20 pm
Dear Dan Stephens,
They have started the heavy transmitting in again several day ago and sleep deprivation and at times putting something in the air through the window and elsewhere to cause people to cough which has made it very difficult to campaign( the cat was wheezing;I suggested that a person I heard coughing wear and mask because he already had a virus or something so I let people know that I can move if it gets too bad). The conspirator criminals want people to hate me. I was trying very hard to get TV access but now since they are doing the heavy trasmitting, sleep deprivation, and messing with my air I breath, I got afraid for the safety of one of the TV anchors who had said that they would do a story ,so I am no longer trying to get TV coverage.
October 23rd, 2004 at 3:42 pm
wes cox,
As you probably already know, THEY ARE EVIL ELEMENTS OF THE GOVERNMENT. See above.
October 23rd, 2004 at 4:54 pm
Carson and Coburn privileged who do not know what it is like to be poor, vicimized and not have access to good health care and the other systems that are supposed to be Just. They both have not voted for your most important needs.
Carson has voted against access to cheaper prescription drugs against the patient bill of rights and recently,I read that he did not vote for head start and special education;he did not vote 75 times. They both have side and voted for the big corporations instead of your most important needs.
(to be continued)

REally, transmitters in your head? Why not get them removed?
October 27th, 2004 at 8:52 pm
So are you pulling for OSU this weekend?
If you pander to the OU fan base, you could get an extra amount of votes!
October 28th, 2004 at 7:51 am
What happened to your dog?
October 28th, 2004 at 10:46 am
If you are going to be uncontrollably “saying racial slurs and mean or nasty words and phrases” why on earth would we want to put you on the senate floor to represent our state; No one in their right mind would vote for you!
October 28th, 2004 at 11:21 am
>No one in their right mind would vote for you!
With polls showing Ms. Bilyeu going from 1% to 6%, it seems some voters are thinking of making a protest vote. The campaigning of Carson and Coburn has portrayed them only slightly less “eccentric” than Bilyeu. But she has the excuse of an electronic device in her head.
November 1st, 2004 at 4:33 pm
We are all curious…#1 Why not get your chips removed. #2 Are you on crack?
November 1st, 2004 at 5:32 pm
I think they planted a transmitter in my head too! And I don’t know what to do… can you help me?
November 1st, 2004 at 5:34 pm
Transmitters in your head are sweet, and by sweet i mean totally rad.
November 2nd, 2004 at 1:12 am
I voted for her. Then again some folks think I’m crazy because I think war is a dumb idea.
So I guess believing in war and death as a good thing makes you sane, I’m glad to be ****ing nuts.
God bless Sheila Bilyeu! Thank God she’s on the ballot. The democrats have no one to blame for this loss but themselves (and slimy Brad Carson’s lack of a backbone)
November 2nd, 2004 at 12:44 pm
I voted for Sheila (without knowing who she is) in protest of the other candidates. Now I wish to retract my vote! Perhaps if she were back on her medication she would fare better!
November 2nd, 2004 at 1:42 pm
I voted for her too, out of spite for those constant television ads and the constant phone calls. Neither one of those morons (Carson and Coburn) should even be on the ballot. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!
November 2nd, 2004 at 4:22 pm
OOPS! I guess I should have done a little more research before I voted for the third party candidate. Then again if her radio transmitter can channel the proper people maybe things will be okay if she wins!
November 3rd, 2004 at 11:59 am
I added something to http://www.sheila4senate.com that tells how many votes she got.
November 10th, 2004 at 1:26 am
Well, first off, I’m sorry that Sheila lost the election – I voted for her. It was before I knew about this “radio” issue but I honestly would have been even MORE inclined to vote for her had I known that then.
Partially its a protest vote against the Big Two (I also left the Presidential ballot blank), partially its because it IS a Third Party and by now I think just about ANY difference is good, though I have to admit Mr. Bilyeu’s views are much closer in line with my own than I had guessed, and I think she has a good, simple, solid platform that makes sense. I didn’t know about the media ignoring her, I just figured the Big Two had blocked her from local debates like they blocked Nader from the Presidential one – undemocratic cowards.
Lastly, my best to Sheila and the other people who have also said they are having or have had … unusual… problems, and are brave enough to risk public ridicule and not only talk about it, but in Sheila’s case, still try to make a difference and work for a better government for her fellow Oklahomans/Americans.
January 12th, 2005 at 11:56 am
I was wondering if you had ever been able to figure out which radio frequency was used to communicate with your transmitter… hence, you might be able to block the signal OR at least prove the transmitter’s existence.
